Diminished Occurrence of Cancer?
by Fiona Macleod
It took me three months of solid mental work to deconstruct the universe. In contrast, it took me many years to solve the complex puzzle of what was causing Rett Syndrome and Autism. In 1994 I knew for certain that I had realised an important component of the cause of my and my son’s disability and I also knew that this had to apply to others. For many years my brain worked on this, (ultimately, I have concluded that human beings are far more complex than the Universe!) Many more disorders are going to find that my work has a role in their search for a cause and I have much work yet to do, for other disabilities as well. Due to the nature of Rett Syndrome having such a broad impact upon the person it affects, whether severe or less so, it affects very many parts of a person. Because of this, understanding Rett Syndromes’ effects on a human being, can and will shed much light on many unrelated conditions as well.
